About This Tour

Grouse Mountain + Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Tour

Our Grouse Mountain + Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Tour showcases two of Vancouver’s most popular nature destinations. First, we will visit the Capilano River Hatchery to witness the majesty of salmon leaping up the river on their way to their annual spawning beds. The trek along the Capilano Suspension Bridge will afford you an unforgettable perspective. Your amazement will continue as you soar above the clouds on North America’s largest aerial tramway, the Grouse Mountain Skyride. The tram will whisk you to the top of the mountain with breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the towering mountains that provide the backdrop to the most memorable selfies you will take!

EXPLORATION STOPS

Next stop: Adventure! Step off the bus, stretch your legs, and explore at your own pace. We've created our itinerary to give you the perfect amount of time at each unforgettable stop! Not sure where to start? Our guides are always happy to show you their favourite hidden gems!

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

One of the things that makes life in Vancouver so fantastic is how the city is able to balance urban culture with jaw-dropping natural landscapes, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is both jaw-dropping, and natural. You will be strolling among the trees of temperate rainforests and traversing the Capilano Suspension Bridge itself, towering over the breathtaking Capilano River. The Treetops Adventure connects seven viewing platforms to massive 1,300 year-old Douglas Fir trees. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, enjoy the Living Forest Trail, an interpretive walk along boardwalks and pathways that will have you learning about the forest before you even know it.

Grouse Mountain Resort

Your stop at Grouse Mountain is sure to stoke your inner mountain adventurer, even if only from the safety from a tram. The Skyride Gondola is your ticket to the top of Grouse Mountain where year-round adventure awaits. Catch a show in the Theatre in the Sky, hang out with the bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife or experience the Birds in Motion demonstration. Whether summer or winter there is always much to do on top of Grouse Mountain! Did we mention that the views of the City of Vancouver are breathtaking? Don't forget your camera!

Capilano Fish Hatchery

Learn about salmon sustainability practices of the hatchery and local area through their observation gallery, where you can see how salmon climb the fish ladders by jumping from one pool to the next.
